MEET OUR TEAM
Left to right: Jeff Hill, Pamela Letchworth, Morgan Miller, Anna Davis Harris and Ashlie Smith.
I am Jeff Hill and I serve as the Executive Director of the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition. My passion to reach our community with prevention tools and methods comes from my own lived experiences. My wife (Christina) and I reside in Goldsboro with our dogs, Champ and Olive, but Wilson is definitely home to us.
I have experience serving vulnerable at-risk populations experiencing substance misuse and other challenges. I have worked with impoverished demographics within the Wilson County limits for the past two years, serving populations ranging in various ages, ethnicities, and education within a non-profit (501c3) work environment. My areas of proficiency include educational development, workforce related training, and personal/behavioral skills training/counseling. In September 2017, I became certified to implement a behavioral risk/need assessment known as the Level of Service/Case Management Inventory (LS/CMI) by the Alma Institute and was later certified as a Recovery Coach via the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) in October 2018.
In my current position as coalition director, I oversee several grants that have allowed us to supply our great community with medication lock boxes, medication disposal kits, naloxone kits and education for prevention, treatment and recovery programs.

My name is Ashlie Smith. I am the Youth Engagement Coordinator. I have always had a desire to work with youth in various capacities. Over the last ten years, I have worked in the capacity as a tutor, substitute teacher, classified teacher assistant as well as an Expectational Children’s teacher. In my leisure time, I have hosted youth group bible studies monthly, volunteered my time at Old Waynesborough Park during celebrations as well as volunteered and participated in school field days.
Currently, I am the Youth Grant Coordinator for the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) Grant at Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition. The purpose of the SPF Grant is to prevent the onset and reduce the evolution of substance misuse among youth on a community and state level. Thus far, we have obtained numerous community support investors. We have a focused effort with local law enforcement, Barton College and the Wilson County Public Schools. We are planning implementation of various prevention educational programs in elementary, middle and high schools. An after school program has been established to assist in developing a relationship and bond with youth. The after school program will be facilitated at the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) of Wilson. Through the use of a variety of learning approaches, the program’s purpose is to enhance and broaden their educational knowledge of substance prevention. Additionally, we are currently in the process of creating a youth coalition to further the outreach to the youth in the Wilson community. |
Hello, my name is Morgan Miller and I am the RC3 Coordinator. I have lived and grown up in Elm City, right outside of Wilson my whole life. I definitely call Wilson home. I am currently furthering my education in college and plan on continuing to do so for a while. I have a passion for helping people and trying to make a positive impact on this world.
In my free time I love to spend time with my friends and family, do church activities, and be outdoors. I also LOVE my dogs, they are family. I enjoy traveling and taking little vacations when it is possible. My favorite place to go is always the mountains. My favorite time of year is fall, not only because of the weather but because of the beautiful colors. My favorite food is seafood, and I do love a short visit to the beach. I am thankful for the great team of people we have here at RC3 and I'm excited to help serve the Wilson community by providing much needed support and resources. |

RECOVERY COACH SBIRT CERTIFIED OFFICE (252) 991-7267 |
My name is Anna Davis, and I am the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition. I have a passion for helping people and making a difference. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to work here and share with our community how important prevention is.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Parker; my two cats, Duke and Kiara; and my family. I also enjoy traveling, sightseeing, and photography! Prior to working for the WCSPC, I helped with the Reformers Unanimous program at Tabernacle Baptist Church while attending Wilson Christian Academy. After that, I attended West Coast Baptist College and received my degree in Office Administration. My job with the WCSPC primarily consists of doing our social media, graphic design, advertising, attending/leading community events, and working with our community partners! I am also the Vice-Chair for the Youth Coalition that we started in 2022. Since I started working here in July of 2021, I have gone through several certification programs/classes such as the NC State Addictions Specialist Certificate Program, Recovery Coach Academy, and Youth & Adult Mental Health First Aid. I am thankful for every opportunity I am given to learn more so I can use that knowledge to help our community! |
I am Pamela Letchworth, the Data Coordinator for WCSPC. I was a National Board Certified mathematics teacher for 29 years and maintain my teaching license with the state of North Carolina. In June 2019, I retired from Fike High School in Wilson, with the intent of exploring other interests. My desire has always been to make a positive impact in my community by involving myself in existing programs that actively fulfill their vision and mission. Accepting the position as Data Coordinator for WCSPC has helped me do that. As an active member of Impact Church of Wilson, I retired as youth minister in February 2021 after 24 years of service to pursue other ministry opportunities. I am now the REACH Minister (beyond the walls of the church).
One of my biggest joys is being aunt to my many nieces and nephews and being dog mom to Pearlie and Penny, the cutest cocker spaniels you will ever meet. My hobbies and interests include healthy living, most any outdoor activity, creating products from essential oils, gardening, beaching, cooking, baking, dancing, and making people smile with random acts of kindness. I also manage this website so please feel free to let me know how to make it better! At WCSPC, I am primarily responsible for collecting, reporting, analyzing and evaluating data for Wilson County's Opioid Settlement Plan, the SAMHSA SPF Grant and the HRSA RCORP Behavioral Health Care Support Grant. The Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) is a multi-year initiative by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) aimed at promoting mental health wellness and reducing the morbidity and mortality of substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD), in high risk rural communities. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) Grant was established to help reduce the onset and progression of substance misuse and its related problems by supporting the development and delivery of community-based substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion services. The program is intended to expand and strengthen the capacity of local community prevention providers to implement evidence-based prevention programs. Currently data is being collected by community partners who have joined our Data Sharing Community of Practice. They report data to WCSPC and it is shared in our data repository and live reports on our website which can be found under Community Data on our website menu. |
